EZvideo-webPosted on: Friday, November 25, 2011 @ 6:45 AM
I know, it\'s been a while since our last update, but I promise you it\'s good!
I\'ve been working really hard and finally got EZvideo-web working! I have a sample page that shows a rotating green triangle on a red background. This is not really that exciting... I know, but it has a lot of potential for simple geometry based games (I\'m still working out the kinks with textures and materials.) it all depends on your shaders too.

I\'ll be uploading the update and posting in my blog in the next few days.
Ready To RumblePosted on: Monday, June 13, 2011 @ 5:52 AM
Although you cannot buy subscriptions or games at the moment, the free game upload is ready to go! Non-pro users have a 7.5 megabyte upload limit, where as pro users have a 50 megabyte limit.

To celebrate, I will host a competition very soon with the following prizes for the winner and two runner ups.

  1. 1500 Credits + 3 Month Pro Subscription

  2. 1000 Credits

  3. 1 Month Pro Subscription

Hopefully these will interest users

I am working on getting a PayPal and Credit Card method of payment for credits, subscriptions and games, but it may take another week or two to get working properly.
EpicZen Dev BlogsPosted on: Tuesday, June 7, 2011 @ 9:27 AM
A feature, which has been severely needed to avoid bloating the news posts has finally been added! EpicZen Dev Blogs!

EZ Dev Blogs are like any ordinary blog (except you cannot comment on them) where we members of the team can post any updates on projects we may be working on, that way you guys and ourselves, can track our work progress
Site UpdatePosted on: Sunday, June 5, 2011 @ 7:27 AM
Yes, another update *watches you all roll your eyes* I have implemented a primitive tracker and views counter so I can keep quick check of the traffic I am getting and where they are coming from.

In more important news, I have made several fixes to CSS regarding the user profile and games page, I have also fixed a lot of the user profile page regarding the SQL database too. I have implemented a privacy option for e-mails whether you want them visible or not and also began implementing the referencing of games to their creators.

The game upload feature is nearly ready for the public, it requires some extra testing and also some careful limiting regarding what level of users can upload their files to our site or if they link to the file offsite as well as probation periods and some others. A Tag and Type was added to all games as well for the upcoming search engine.

Again... not that much exciting but it now works much more nicely it also appears to work fully in Opera, Chrome, FireFox and IE9 (haven't checked IE8 though)

And last but certainly not least... I am considering implementing an IM feature for quick discussions with people live.
MOAR FixesPosted on: Thursday, June 2, 2011 @ 7:53 AM
Yes, I've spent some time making a bunch more fixes regarding CSS and the general layout of the site in the HTML code I've written, or Chris wrote and I am attempting to fix... haha

My next goal is to implement a smilies list for posting and to finally finish up game uploading for general users... I am greatly considering putting a file-size cap on to avoid massive files, and/or charging users if they go over this free limit. Likely this will mean that Pro users will get a much higher limit.

In fact, new users may have to upload their games to some other site and their game will await approval before being public. Once it has been verified as legitimate and safe the game will be approved and enabled for public view and download. On top of this I will be implementing a tag & search system so when we actually get games, users can find games based on tags... oh and genre of course.
